Learning to sail. Tipping the boat, because it was fun. Every single moment spent on the water, going fast. Getting married over the ocean. Playing gin rummy at 3 a.m. waiting to catch the first bus to Machu Picchu. Watching the clouds burn. Smiling at that reggae singer who asked me to dance. Seeing Abby smile. I Was Ready

On May 27, my colleagues and I went for a tasty lunch at Wishbone. It was my last day at work. Now that I’ve been self-employed for a month, I feel ready to share two stories. The moment I knew I was ready. And the massive fear I carried the last few months of employment. I hope you get something out of this first video. Even if it’s only a chuckle at my Chicago accent!
